On November 21, 2024, Dushanbe hosted the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin and the Director for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia at the German Federal Foreign Office Konrad Arz von Straussenburg.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including politics, economy, trade, investment, energy, industry, migration, education, science and culture.

Both sides noted their satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the multifaceted cooperation, as well as implementing joint programs and projects in the future.

A productive exchange of views on the interaction between Tajikistan and Germany within the framework of international and regional organizations was carried out.
